Commission tracking software built for insurance agencies

If you run an insurance agency, you already know that spreadsheets can’t keep up with new business, renewals, carrier splits, and producer overrides. CommishPulse was built for exactly this.

Built inside a real insurance agency

CommishPulse didn’t come out of a Silicon Valley pitch deck. It was built because we needed it — tracking premium written, commission owed, and profit per producer inside our own insurance operation. Read more about the team.

CommishPulse dashboard showing real-time sales, commission, producer ranking, and company profit

What insurance agency owners get with CommishPulse

  • ✓Track new business and renewal commissions separately
  • ✓Handle multiple carriers, products, and commission splits
  • ✓Producer dashboards that show each agent exactly what they’ve written and what they’ve earned
  • ✓Owner-only visibility into agency profit — after commissions, salary, and service costs
  • ✓Monthly leaderboards to keep producers competing
  • ✓Duplicate detection so you don’t pay commission on the same policy twice

Made for the way insurance agencies actually get paid

Premium written isn’t the same as commission earned, and commission earned isn’t the same as agency profit. CommishPulse tracks all three separately — so you always know the difference between what your producers wrote, what they get paid, and what your agency actually keeps.

Who it’s for

  • ✓Independent insurance agencies
  • ✓P&C agencies
  • ✓Life & health agencies
  • ✓Multi-line agencies with producers on commission
  • ✓Agencies moving off spreadsheets or QuickBooks-based commission tracking

Frequently asked (insurance-specific)

Can I set different commission rates per carrier?

Yes. Commission rules can be set per carrier, per product, and per producer, so an auto policy with one carrier and a commercial policy with another can pay at completely different rates.

Can I import my current book of business?

Yes. Import existing policies and production via CSV, then keep entering new business as it comes in.

Does it track renewals and rewrites?

Yes. Renewals are tracked separately from new business with their own commission rates, and rewrites can be flagged so they don't get counted twice.

Can producers see their own YTD without seeing agency financials?

Yes. Producers see their own production, commission, goals, and leaderboard rank. Agency financials — expenses, salary allocation, and profit — are owner-only.
